Our school is currently participating in a learning cohort as we work towards implementing Personalized Learning strategies schoolwide. Along with the SC Personalized Learning training, I have participated in the Modern Classrooms Project training, in order to transition my classroom to a include blended instruction and self-pacing. An essential component of the "Modern Classroom Model" is to provide students with video lectures that they can watch at their own pace. This presents the need for my students to have headphones that connect to their Chromebooks to watch the video lectures in class at their own pace without being disturbed.
