The materials will be used in stations throughout the classroom giving the students opportunities to explore. The materials will also be used for direct instruction as well and parallel play between students. Many of our students are also on the Autism spectrum and they have sensory and attention issues. The more stations that are available the more opportunities to learn a new skill with things that are not just made by the teacher. Some furniture items were also requested, to create comfortable divided sections of the room for learning.
