Many of my students rely on the meals that they receive from the school. Luckily, because we are a Title I school, breakfast and lunch are provided for every student, at no cost. The reason that I am asking for snacks is that my students have a VERY early lunch, 10:30 am to be exact. Our school day runs from 7:30 am until 3:10 pm and I know that for some students, school meals are their only chance for nutrition. I'd like to have to opportunity to offer them something to take home if needed. Our classroom would be very appreciative. If this project is funded, these snacks will be given out to my students throughout the day, this gives me the peace of mind to know they have something to get them through the day or at home in the event they need it. Thank you so much!
