In this day in age, realistically, it is extremely difficult to navigate classes without a good laptop. Students have multiple different online platforms where they need to check assignments, exams, work on projects, or even just check their syllabi. By creating a raffle for students that will be run throughout commitment day, it gives students something to worked toward and look forward to. High school seniors currently have a lot of pressure on them to rush through the college application process and catch up on the things they may have missed out on the previous year, and through have an incentive to continue to worked toward that goal - they will be unstoppable. Help me help my students get excited about applying to school and the next steps of their adult life.
