My students are struggling readers and they want to develop their skills but also enjoy the books they are reading as well. These books are picked to do just that have them enjoy reading but also help them develop the skills they need to improve their ability to become better readers. These students are determine to become better readers but in the past all they have to read at their level are books they are not interested in or makes them feel bad about what they can do. These books will have them feel good about themselves and become better readers.
