The students having paper will support all of the academic standards. Since I teach a lower-level algebra class, sometimes the book is too much for them. I have to supplement with worksheets to their level. So, even though we have digital resources, they don’t always apply. Students also need pencil and paper for math practice. No matter how great a teacher, math needs to be practiced by hand and not on a computer. Having paper will allow me to supplement when needed and give the students sheets with things like graphs or figures already drawn to support their learning.
