These social skills stories and materials will help my students learn safe and appropriate ways to work through everyday situations they will face at school, home, and out in the world. These supports will help them to see that they are not alone and with the right mindset they can grow and overcome. The sensory supports will help my students to decompress, regain or maintain focus, and provide safe break alternatives when they are feeling upset. By providing these supports, the students will be better prepared to remain in the classroom for increased amounts of time which will increase their exposure to instruction and ultimately help their academic performance.

About my class
