The room decor, games and fidgets I have requested are all geared towards providing students a way to share difficult emotions. The repetitive motion of spinning, clicking, or rolling fidget toys can boost concentration and productivity because of their calming effect. Students who are anxious can be distracted by the fidgets which reduce the anxiety. I regularly mail letters and postcards of encouragement to students moving through difficult times. I have requested notes and postcards to continue encouraging and reminding students of their strength. Thank you so much for your support!
