My students all come to school with a vastly different set of social skills. As a teacher I need to be able to meet them at their level and help them progress so that they are confident in their skills and can be proud of what they have learned. When you have many students at many levels differentiation is the key to success! My students have been especially hit hard with the emotions that they feel and how to control them post Covid. The materials I get will be able to teach them skills to understand and manage what they are feeling regularly at home and school. It will also allow me to be able to have multiple social skills activities that can grow with my students as they learn and acquire new skills. The ability to quickly print off a reference or activity for a child to work on at home makes the community who is supporting the child's learning even stronger.
