These materials will help contribute to our students learning by showing them how to help their community. The hygiene products we receive will all be used in our Service Learning Project, which is a project that our JROTC program conducts every year. Service-Learning is a teaching method that incorporates community service and academics to help our cadets become better citizens. In efforts to provide for our community and teach cadets life-long lessons, we will use the products that we receive to donate towards several homeless shelters and other housing centers for those in need. Exposing them to the experience of providing for people in need will give them a learning experience that is exclusive to only our program. In past years cadets in our program have shown objective improvement of the awareness of real-world challenges.
