ELA games and activities are crucial for this age group. Some of my students are still learning their letters and sounds while I have ones ready to read. The activities in my list will help each student stay engaged. Most of the activities are also targeted towards my walk-to-read group and my struggling students. I want them to be able to continue exploring, staying creative, and working together. "Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them." I love this so I borrowed it from another educator. During my walk to read group, I find it hard to fit two groups in my carpet area especially with all the protocols we have to follow. Having the extra seats and portable tables would help the students find a more comfortable spacious area around the room without having to bump heads.
