With these books it will allow me to give my students the tools they need in order to become successful readers. In my classroom every student is a reader, some just haven't found their favorite book, yet! My students will be so excited to not only become stronger readers but to also have the ability to escape into a whole new world as they read. These books will allow my little minds to become fluent readers who are ready to conquer the first grade! My students have begun reading independently and my classroom library is a place that my students frequent. These decodable readers will allow me to take this same feel to my back table in order to reach the many shades of readers I have in my classroom. By having a variety of collections my little readers will be able to find something they are able to relate to on their level! The best way to increase my students reading ability is to read more, especially in a small group setting!
