In my classroom we welcome students that have sensory disorder and need special tools to make their learning come alive. It will be therapeutic for the students to be able to use the sensory chair and bands when they feel the need. At times during learning students need to rock about, understanding how student's with autism learn. Sitting in a desk at times does not help certain students but with a swivel rocker stool they can remain seated, engaged, part of the learning environment and come alive. Their demeanor and self esteem will soar!
