The class set of headphones will help my students focus more on learning while completing work on their iPad tablets. It will give them privacy and ownership in achieving their academic goals. It will also give my students less disruption in the class during guided reading instruction, and more structure and rigorous learning in the classroom. With this class set of headphones, each student will have the opportunity to learn and hear new topics related to reading comprehension. While students are on various ELA resources that are mandatory by Washington, DC public schools such as ANET, I-READY, and PARCC, it gives them the opportunity to read words quickly and build reading comprehension.
