These authentic books will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to dive into an inclusive environment in which they can relate to the books' settings and characters. My students will have an opportunity to make personal connections to the books, which will deepen their love and understanding for reading. My students will feel seen and heard through authentic, Spanish literature that will cultivate their love for reading. Besides utilizing these resources at school, students will take their learning home as well. We will have a checkout system where they will be allowed to take books home in order to read with their families and complete projects together.
