After teaching golf during summer school 2021, I noticed it played an important part in acclimating Special Ed students back into the classroom. Golf will give my special needs students the opportunity to learn a new sport, problem-solve, and how to manage challenging situations after being isolated during distance education. A special needs fun center will address many individualized needs in Special Education to promote intrinsic motivation, communication, class incentives, and social-emotional standards towards student success. The student supplies, golf equipment, and various reward incentives are fun positive steps in creating an engaging Special Ed learning center.
