With students missing so much in-person learning over the last year and a half. Getting back to scientific basics is key to preparing students for continuing education. Students will be able to complete hands-on laboratory experiments and meet academic standards HS-PS1-2 through HS-PS1-5. By being able to control temperature and exact measurements, students are able to use their senses to explore the physical world around them. With students into technology and social media, they forget to notice the world around them. By engaging students in inquiry-based learning students are able to explore the world around them, especially since they have missed so much education opportunities with the pandemic.
