Having an area in my classroom that allows for small group instruction with students can have a tremendous impact on their academic success. Currently, I only have desks in my room which makes it difficult to sit with students and engage with them when providing support. Making sure that I have a dedicated area where I can enhance or re-teach the day's lesson would be ideal for my students' needs. I have noticed that when I sit with my students in small groups I am able to easily connect what we are learning to their everyday lives and help them understand why it is important. My students are noticeably open to asking for clarification when I am working with them in smaller groups. The products that I have chosen will allow for this accommodation in my classroom. The dry erase table will reduce the amount of paper used in the classroom and will entice students to engage in the material being taught because of the opportunity they will have to use dry-erase markers. The seats make it ideal for students to sit up straight and be in a nice learning position.
