The treats requested will be used to reward my students who actively participate in completing assignments, working with each other in small groups, and participation in activities. Often time my students come to school hungry and want something to eat to get their day going. So to encurage them to participate and stay focus, treats will be used as an incentive. It makes them feel good to see how happy they are during instructional time. It is hard to get students to focus and pay attention to instruction when they have an empty stomach. Incentives for hardwork goes a long way with students. lt encourages them to continue to do well and we recognize their hard work.
