I am requesting sensory toys, books to learn social skills, and hands-on learning materials to build number sense and letter recognition. The various ELA materials such as the sight words game and the letter locks will allow students to meet RF.K.1d, RF.K.3a, RF.1.3g, The math materials such as the addition and subtraction wrap sticks and the dinosaur sorting will give students the opportunity to practice skills required for K.CC.B.4a and 1.OA.C.5. By receiving books addressing social skills, my students will learn valuable social skills that were unable to be taught and practiced during school shutdown. These books will allow my students to learn how to appropriately interact with others. Additionally, board games will give students the chance to learn to share with others and to follow the rules of a game.
