A print-rich classroom is what I strive to have for my students. I want them to have choices on subjects and types of books to read. That way they feel empowered by choice and learn to love to read. My hope is to create a comfortable reading area for students to share and learn from each other. Students will be able to read to each other and have discussions based on their chosen books. If students need books to read at home they can take them from my class library. All students should be given the chance to read or be read to!
