The materials requested will help me to create a therapeutic safe space for students to heal from the grief and trauma felt throughout this natural disaster. My goal is for my kids to walk into our new space and feel welcome, comfortable, and have the tools necessary to learn. Every student deserves to feel loved, cared for and accepted when they walk into my classroom/office space. Help me to re-create an atmosphere where my high school students will be able to thrive academically, as well as learn and grow emotionally. The items I am requesting are specifically chosen to benefit my students social-emotional wellness.
