These resources will provide a safe and welcoming place for my students to learn. My students are emotional challenged and Covid made a huge impact on their learning and social/emotional growth. My students come to school everyday and I want them to have a safe place to be while they are at school with me. The sofa will allow my students to have flexible seating in my classroom. In addition, my students can earn rewards for positive social interaction and working on their assignments. The candy, Gatorade, and fidget toys are a great reward for their progress and good behavior. The fidget toys also help with their anxiety of sitting in a seat. I would also need a place to keep all of my students items in a safe place while we are working on various coping skills when having a emotional meltdown.
