In my fundamental math class, I want students to be able to see the fun side of math and find a sense of motivation to persevere when solving problems. Instead of working on boring worksheets and taking notes all the time, the students explore how math is involved in the real-world. They boost their foundational skills in math and then work on projects that apply their logic and problem-solving skills to tackle real life problems. With these materials... 1. I'll be able to create manipulatives for more fun activities. 2. Students will be able to create manipulatives and designs for their final products in any projects we complete in class. 3. I can create a more inviting classroom environment that promotes collaboration and growth mindset. 4. Students will be able to collaborate using group/individual whiteboards at their desks and on the walls.
