This project will be part of a larger unit on computer coding. Students will participate in multiple collaborative, project-based activities where they will have the opportunity to work together. Students will learn to code. They will also work on various activities practicing a variety of coding assignments. This project will help reinforce important skills like critical thinking. Students will show off their work in a presentation that also highlights and features important African American (Black) scientists and innovators. They will show other students how they approached their project. They can also teach other students how to code a few simple items during this interactive presentation. This project will empower minorities.

About my class
