These toys will aid in the development of the young preschooler’s fine motor muscles. Developing these skills helps the children to learn to hold pencils correctly and have the ability to write and cut. I will be using these toys to teach social emotional skills as well by using them as dramatic play and helping the children to learn to share and take turns as well as sort, count, and become more dexterous. Using these materials in small group settings as well as a whole group setting will help spark curiosity and willingness to learn at a young age.
