The phonic awareness and reading material will engage the students for a hands-on learning experience. Students practice letter and sound recognition to blend words together. They will use the write board strips to help control hand movement with tall and short letters. With the flip cards, students will practice substitute beginning, middle, or ending sounds. Using math manipulative s will visually help student make number connections. Counters, coins, and other manipulative give students tactile learning opportunities. The game like experience creates a fun and competitive atmosphere to engage all students.
