Purchasing the white clay and multiple colors of acrylics and low fire glazes will help my students to conceive, develop, and create new artistic artworks. We do a large variety of projects in Ceramics incorporating pinch, coil, and slab building methods. Through use of clay and glazes, students will develop art making skills and techniques while making/designing works of art and comparing methods of spontaneous and deliberate design. As we all know, the past couple of school years have been extremely hard on everyone. I feel like these kids need a creative outlet to express themselves and having these supplies would really help us demonstrate acquisition of skills and knowledge through experimentation, practice, and persistence using various approaches.
