As we emerge from the closures of the pandemic, it is necessary to provide students with the needed training resources so they can enter (re-enter) the sports world in good physical shape. The kids are anxious to start working out and with the weather changing to lower temperatures outside it is becoming necessary to find ways for them to workout indoors. Cardio training is a necessary component for safety of the student-athlete as they compete in sports. The requested treadmill will allow the student-athletes to work to improve their cardio capabilities indoors during the cold winter months in northern Nevada. Being from a small school district, space is limited as it is shared among several different organizations. Being able to workout in a small confined space would allow our sports program a way to maximize the area we have.
