In my orchestra class we play a variety of string instruments. My students need to be able to practice at home as well as play their instruments at school. These music stands will allow students who have no place to place their music at home a stand to help them practice. As COVID restrictions begin to ease up, we will begin going to other locations for performances. These folding music stands will be easier to transport to the venue we will be performing at. Please help us get these folding music stands and rosin for their bows so that every student can participate in music lessons more easily. One of the fine arts standards falls under the category of Performing where students realize artistic work through interpretation and presentation. My students need to be able to demonstrate performance decorum (such as stage presence, attire, and behavior) and audience etiquette appropriate for venue, purpose, context, and style. MU:Pr6.8.2. These music stands will help this happen.
