I would like to use books about Kindness in my 1st Grade classroom to promote the social/emotional skills lacking from children being isolated from each other during this time we live in. I would also like to increase their reading and writing skills by applying what they learn in the Kindness books to create special thank you and encouraging notes to others. I would like to have a center ready with materials about kindness for them to have available when needed to create cards for others in the classroom, school and even in the community.
