Our students learn CPR and how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator as part of the OKCPS curriculum. Early intervention with an AED used within 3-5 minutes of a person collapsing in cardiac arrest can produce survival rates as high as 50-70%. Malls, gyms, schools, and churches are a few of the public places that have an Automatic External Defibrillator. Our school's AED is 15 years old and outdated with an expired battery and replacements that are not available. Please help us provide that standard of care for our students and all visitors to our building.
