The materials, I'm requesting for my autistic students will make STEM engineering and design lessons engaging, authentic and standards aligned. These students need tangible tools for solving engineering problems in ways that reinforce skills to prepare them for future studies and careers.
LEGO BricQ Motion Essential sets will provide autistic students standards aligned learning opportunities in STEM that support inquiry-based active learning in the exploration of physical science while integrating other academic subjects and promoting 21st-century skills like critical thinking and collaboration.
This project will facilitate teaching and learning the following content standards:
RI.3.1; RI.3.3; RI.3.8; RI.4.1; RI.4.3: RI.4.9; RI.5.4
W.3.7; W.3.8; W.4.2; W.4.7; W.4.8; W.4.9; W.5.4; W.5.7
SL.3.3; SL.4.1 a-c; SL.5.1 a-c
MP.2; MP.5; 3.MD.A.2; 4.OA.A3
