The flexible seating items will be used at school in the classroom setting for the use of all students that are in need of a pause or a moment of reflection. A moment of reflection can be a beneficial time to destress, or to allow a student to take a break during a break down from their own normal behavior, or when a child is just in need of redirection of bad choices. The Items will be used to help facilitate SEL group sessions. Circle time in the classroom is a great opportunity to use the selected seats. The goal of the classroom setting in to provide a safe place that allows student to really focus on ways to overcome conflict and teach coping skills that actual benefit the students’ overall success. The items are being used to create an ambience of a calming place, where group sessions are held to resolve and address daily stressors and concerns of the student.
