Students in my classes have a lot to deal with outside of the classroom. I'm trying to create a safe space for students to be able to go to if they feel they are about the explode with emotions. In this calming area students will have a comfortable seat to try to relax, there will be calming coloring sheets and a few calming toys for students to take a moment to gather themselves without having an incident in class. This will cut down on behavior issues and help keep students in class for learning.
