I've only just begun working at my school, but already I've seen so many students hungry for literature. With most of these students coming from vastly under-served communities, it was already difficult for them to get their hands on books to read, but then schools shut down due to COVID-19. These students didn't have access to a library for nearly two years. Now that the library is open again, they are so happy to be able to check out books, but still I feel as though the library cannot properly support the student body. Just as everyone has suffered from these past couple of years, so have these students. Help me make a positive impact in the lives of students who are often overlooked.
