These are high interest novels that students, with the right supports, can relate to and invest themselves in so that they can experience success in reading. The average lexile of applications, legal documents, etc... is above that of what the average lexile is for many students. To prepare our students for success in the world outside of school, we must provide opportunities for all students to be readers.

About my class
