Our pre-kindergarten students with Autism have a hard time taking turns and sitting in one place. These games will allow them to play with friends, learn the art of taking turns, and attend to a task for a predetermined time. In addition, students will need to persist and use prior knowledge to complete the activities. In addition to increasing their social and cognitive skills, these games will target literacy goals, number sense goals, and fine motor goals. Most importantly though, these activities will require our students to increase their speech and social skills.
