These materials will help students express their emotions, thoughts, and creative ideas in a way that encourages them to think and problem solve in order to create. My students love to be hands on with materials, and their engagement and excitement skyrockets when they have the chance to use their hands. I plan on using these materials to create math bins for each student to have, and to implement them into our math curriculum. The materials in the math bins can allow students to practice place value, sorting and counting, and grouping.
