Because most of my students attended first grade virtually, their access to printed text in books was very minimal. This has caused my second grade students to be much lower than students I have had in the past. My classroom library lacks titles in these lower levels. By donating to this project, you are helping to provide books that my students will be able to read at their own level in order to gain confidence in reading and hopefully to help them become fluent, independent readers! They will be so excited to see the new titles. I have included many sets of books so that my students can read multiple stories with the same characters in them. I am hoping that ALL students will find something they will love to read!
