With these items, my students who thrive on sensory experiences will be able to gather the skills that all students need to thrive in their educational environment! Peace corners are used by schools in order to provide a safe space for students to practice self-awareness and self-regulation techniques needed to thrive in their communities! These sensory items will provide my students with a designated space where they can find peace in the classroom. A safe space in which they can use tools to practice their self-regulation skills before coming back to the learning space.
