By donating to my project you will help me teach my students about their identity through great examples of Mexican- Americans or Cuban-Americans (and other Latinx) who succeeded in becoming important leaders all over the world. My project will help my students dream big and accept themselves for who they are by developing their skills and following through. Students will explore their backgrounds, their culture and traditions, and will learn to feel that they belong. The art supplies will be used for culture projects and students' expression, the books in Spanish will promote reading skills and academic achievement in general.
