I am requesting assistance in purchasing a graphic novel featuring true stories of World War II. Some students struggle with traditional books and a novel in the format of a comic book, containing images as well as fewer words, will encourage even the most uninterested readers to stay engaged. I intend to create activities/lessons centered around this novel and believe my students will enjoy this resource as part of our WWII unit. This resource will provide a deeper glimpse into the lives impacted and the sacrifices made during this era.
