I am a Special Education Teacher . My students don't yet read or write . The students that I served receive support in the areas of social/emotional, communication ,cognitive, self-help and fine and gross motor skills . We use age appropriate toys and school materials to work with them toward these goals , many are visual learners . They have multiple developmental kinds of delays and may also have a wide range of medical/physical disabilities.
My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving options to make more effective learning choices. The educational toys are good to help them to understand concepts like: Shapes, colors, sort objects by colors . The technology device will allow me to work on data collection that is needed to write the student Individual Educational Plan and to create effective lesson
plans. Also I will use the device for our Google Meet parent-Teacher conferences and other meetings with parents .
