My students each have a Chromebook. With Nearpod, I can make our daily lessons interactive as well as fun for them. Nearpod allows the Google slides we use to teach with, to be shared on each student's computer. The program allows them to write on the slides so that I can see the work they are doing on each problem. I can embed instructional videos for those students that are absent. One of my students' favorite thing about Nearpod is that it also incorporates games into the lessons to make the learning fun and engaging. Instead of just a worksheet, I can turn the math problems into a game where they race their classmates to the top of a mountain with their avatars. This is the ultimate way to make learning interactive for my math students.
