Our students learn about goals, why goal setting is important, and set goals in all grade levels for both reading and math with the end goal in 5th grade to meet or exceed the standards in reading literature, informational text, and math. We would like to celebrate our students publicly on the big screen and we need the Galaxy Book Go computers to run the big screen monitors. 6.GS.K.1 Define goal. RL.5.10 By the end of the year, read and comprehend literature, including stories, dramas, and poetry, at the high end of the grades 4-5 text complexity band independently and proficiently. RI.5.10 By the end of the year, read and comprehend informational texts, including history/social studies, science, and technical texts, at the high end of the grades 4-5 text complexity band independently and proficiently. 5.OA.A.2 Write simple expressions that record calculations with numbers, and interpret numerical expressions without evaluating them. For example, express the calculation "add 8 and 7, then multiply by 2" as 2 x (8 + 7). Recognize that 3 x (18932 + 921) is three times as large as 18932 + 921, without having to calculate the indicated sum or product.
