By using the current technology used in plot farming in our classroom and field work we can ensure our students are prepared to work with this technology upon graduation. Our community is built around and with our school district. Our families trust that we will prepare their children for the future. Part of this trust is to use the current technology so the students will be ready upon graduation to go directly to working with this technology. GPS plotting uses the same technology as plot farming and will give our students an advantage when working with this technology. Our students will have practical hands-on applications with this technology and will allow them to have an upper hand when they begin to plot farm.
