Ottomans for kids make for a rapid and comfortable transition to "talk time". After isolating from the lockdown for over a year, middle schoolers more than ever need a safe and inviting place to "talk". Circle time is an effective way for students to express themselves. These little comfortable seats allow the entire class to circle up quickly in a place where there will be nothing in the way of each other. Circles are a big part of restorative practices where students learn SEL skills and much about each other. They discuss all kinds of things from overcoming challenges to the loss of a pet. We work on problem-solving and building relationships.
