These magazines allow students to learn more about what is going on in the real world. They have science and social studies topics that are of high interest to kids. There are wonderful videos that connect these topics to them and are really good conversation and discussion starters. The magazines are written for students to be able to decode and access the text independently or with a whole group. They are extremely motivated and look forward to reading these each week. Our school district was unable to fund this product this year and I know our students will be disappointed if we can't have them this year.
