I would love my students to learn Spanish by reading something they like. I am going to create a corner inside my classroom for them to read during class time and enjoy learning another language, another culture and another way of seeing things. Incorporating children’s books in Spanish can be a fun way to introduce students to the Spanish language and Latino culture. Students can practice reading aloud to one another to learn new vocabulary and to get a feel for speaking the language. It will be super fun for my students to have a variety of books to read!
